Join us for four hours of live and interactive learning over the course of two days. Join us from 10:00 AM to Noon on Wednesday April 1 and again on Thursday April 2 for two modules, including an Introduction to Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving for Lean Teams
Session One – Introduction to Continuous Improvement
Overview: This 2-hour session will cover the philosophies of continuous improvement, the seven wastes, “reliable methods” as techniques for combating waste. It includes a comprehensive, virtual simulation that shows a factory in transition from batch production (push) to one-piece flow (using pull). This course is designed to both inform and inspire individuals about the benefits of unleashing the power of continuous improvement within their organization.
Session Two - Problem Solving for Lean Teams
Overview: This 2-hour workshop will describe PDCA, 5Why, the Six Step Problem Solving Process and CEDAC as means to document, measure, quantify and break down problems in order to solve them. Participants will gain hands-on experience. The class provides an excellent foundation for organizations just starting to explore the role of problem solving in their lean journey and provides many valuable tips and ideas for organizations that may be further along in their problem-solving maturity.
