Training within Industry (aka TWI) was developed during the 1940’s to bolster the skills of a new workers entering the workforce when many incumbent workers left for the war. The methodology quickly and consistently trains newcomers to the world of manufacturing. It is now considered a essential component in any Lean and continuous improvement management system approach.
GBMP and Comtran Industries would like to invite you to a special event with a goal of sharing both successes and challenges using TWI in your organization. This is not a lecture or presentation, but rather a gathering of CI practitioners to facilitate discussion and knowledge-transfer.
The morning will begin with a tour of Comtran's Attleboro facility. Comtran is a leading manufacturer of high-performance data communications, premise telephone, low voltage, and specialty wire and cable.
