To play DVDs on a computer, you must have a DVD-ROM drive, a computer running the Microsoft Windows XP operating system (or newer), and either a software or hardware DVD decoder installed on your computer. (By default, Windows does not include a DVD decoder.) There are a number of free DVD players available. Please consult your IT department. A number of GBMP clients use VLC player (free multimedia player) which can be downloaded from various sites (do a web search for specific information). |
Our History

Toast Kaizen, the video that started it all, was created by GBMP President Bruce Hamilton in his kitchen more than 20 years ago. Thanks to the uncomplicated but powerful learning opportunity it created - a simple explanation of waste and kaizen coupled with the importance of direct observation and the high value of "small changes for the better", it was a hit. A man simply making toast for his wife - who knew one day we'd offer it in 21 languages? Many more videos were to follow and GBMP is extremely proud to have had EIGHT of them honored with the prestigious Shingo Institute Research & Professional Publication award.
GBMP is a not for profit organizational development firm whose mission is to increase global competitiveness and employment opportunities in the region through customized Lean and Six Sigma training. Our goal is to help companies become more productive, more competitive, and more profitable through enterprise-wide Continuous Improvement education and implementation. GBMP also provides a membership community for Lean practitioners from manufacturing, healthcare, insurance and other industries. GBMP is a licensed affiliate of The Shingo Institute with four certified instructors on staff. Our annual Northeast Lean Conference, now in its 15th year, has become one of the most popular and influential Lean events of the year.
