Assessing your Lean Journey

This 4-hour workshop is devoted to making sure students have the skills and confidence to develop and deploy a means to track Lean transformation by identifying  technical and cultural system gaps and the knowledge to be able to address and resolve the gaps. 

While no two Lean journeys are identical, all can be characterized by stages of technical capability and cultural maturity.  Both perspectives focus on process as leading indicator for performance, and both are evaluated in terms of the gap between current and ideal.  

We will will practice with several qualitative assessment instrument designed to highlight both technical and  cultural gaps, as guidance for maintaining momentum with operational excellence.  Students will participate in a mock assessment using tools adapted from the Toyota and the Shingo Institute. 

This workshop is for Kaizen Leaders and senior and middle manager.  Attendees will receive several assessment tools to apply and modify according to need.
