Shingo Institute Workshop: DISCOVER EXCELLENCE

Learn how the Shingo Model can unleash latent potential in your people and processes to drive your culture toward organizational excellence. The first workshop of the six workshop series, DISCOVER EXCELLENCE, provides the foundational understanding of the Shingo Model and the 10 Shingo Guiding Principles & Three Insights of Organizational Excellence™.

DISCOVER EXCELLENCE, a two-day highly interactive workshop comprised of lecture, gemba visits and small group discussions, is designed to make your learning meaningful and immediately applicable as you 

As a participant, you will

• Learn to understand the Shingo Model.
• Discover the Three Insights of Organizational Excellence™.
• Explore how the Shingo Guiding Principles inform ideal behaviors that ultimately lead to sustainable results.
• Understand the behavioral assessment process through an interactive case study and on-site learning.

*Please note: The DISCOVER EXCELLENCE workshop is a prerequisite for all of the other Shingo Workshops. It is advised that students take it first, followed by Systems Design. Once you have taken these two,  you can take Cultural Enablers, Continuous Improvement & Enterprise Alignment in any order, finishing with final workshop, Build Excellence. 

Virtual courses meet from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time unless otherwise noted. In Person classes meet from 8 AM to 5 PM in the host site's time zone.
