This 4-hour session will give attendees the basics of Gemba Walks. We will start with a short TPS review. Next, we will look at Management Systems and Management's Role within the Gemba Walk System. We will show a short video on Gemba Management and how one company is using this system. Our next focus will be on the Why of Gemba Walks and their purpose and objectives. From there we will look at different types of Gemba Walks, who should do them, and what you should be focusing on. We will share a list of questions you might as while on your Gemba Walk along with some standard work and templates that might be used. We will finish up with a breakout session where we will ask you to begin to develop a template for your Gemba Walks. At the end, we will have time for some Q&A and a call to action.
