Learn how to successfully train others in Continuous Improvement methods. This workshop focuses on how to identify training needs and develop an effective curriculum and materials for a workforce with varying skill levels and learning styles.
Through a variety of hands-on activities aspiring trainers will learn how to plan, conduct and evaluate targeted training that promotes continuous improvement behaviors and problem solving skills. The class is customized to the specific needs of the participants and considerable time is spent creating, piloting and analyzing the results of class-designed materials. In addition, attendees will be introduced to a variety of tools for documenting and quantifying training programs and processes, such as cross-training matrices and course evaluation forms. At the request of participants, this class can also include other components such as Learning to Run Effective Meetings, Employee Development Through Coaching, and Leading Continuous Improvement Initiatives.” The class emphasizes the value of tacit learning and covers the cultural and organizational issues that impact learning.
