Kaizen Planning/Leading a Kaizen Event can be both exciting and scary. Learn the key steps to a Successful Kaizen Event including the importance of Pre-Event Planning, how to manage the Event itself and the significance of Post Event Follow up. Learn how data and metrics can provide needed support, track progress (or lack of progress) and celebrate success. Different types of Kaizen will be introduced including individual kaizen activity, team-based kaizen events, and strategic kaizen projects. A small team activity will explore the pros and cons of each type and develop countermeasures to improve your success rate. Examples of successful kaizen events will be shared.
