TPM is a tool that can help improve the stability of your equipment and without stability we cannot properly plan and schedule work. Attendees will learn about the current condition in most organizations as it relates to world-class maintenance. We will discuss the 7 Wastes and what they might look like from the perspective of TPM. We will discuss how you can get started implementing TPM in your facilities. In the presentation you will see examples of countermeasures and some best practices. Students will learn about the 4 Stages and 5 Goals of TPM as well as how to calculate OEE within their facilities. We will also discuss Total Employee Involvement and how important to not only have your maintenance employees involved but also the employees who run your equipment. We will spend time giving you examples of "Operator Walk-Arounds" that you can implement right away.
