This 4-hour program tackles 5S Workplace Organization, a critical component of any successful Lean implementation. Attendees will discover the importance of each component:
- S1 – Sorting
- S2 – Setting in Order
- S3 – Shine (also sweep or straighten)
- S4 - Standardize
- S5 - Sustain
The workshop includes a discussion of different tools that will help attendees standardize & sustain their 5S process across their businesses. Tools such as Zones and Teams, 5S Daily Check Sheets, a 5S Color Coding System, 5S Audits, 5S Communications Boards, Kaizen Newspapers or Before and after templates, Actions lists, and Steering Committees.
